Ido came to the University of Chicago after completing his M.A. in Comparative Literature at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he also holds a B.A. in Philosophy. He is interested in the literary history of Zionism, and especially in its German inheritance.
Research interests: Reception and canon-formation; translation; literature & philosophy; world literature; historical poetics.
